Rainer Bless completed his specialist training in Germany. He opened his own practice in Mannheim in 1992. His practice was attached to the maternity clinic and so he provided neonatological care for emergency caesarean sections, performed U1 and U2 screening examinations as well as newborn ultrasound examinations (skull, hips, abdomen, kidneys).

He has additional qualifications in naturopathy, allergology and homeopathy. He is authorised to provide yellow fever vaccinations and travel medicine advice as well as environmental medicine advice.

Rainer Bless is himself the father of 4 adult children, married and has been a member of the KTK medical team since July 2020.

Georg Hook completed his specialist training in Germany at the Olga Hospital in Stuttgart. In 1989, he opened his own practice specialising in neonatology, adolescent medicine and psychosomatic medicine. Mr Hook gave up his practice in 2010, but continues to work as a freelancer in his former practice as well as regularly in various other paediatric practices since 2014. Mr Hook is married, has two grown-up sons and has been a member of the KTK medical team since 2017.

Alfred Kuttruf completed his specialist training in Germany at the Olga Hospital in Stuttgart. Since 1987, he has been a paediatrician together with a colleague in a joint practice for paediatric and adolescent medicine in Echterdingen, Germany. Mr Kuttruf also specialises in psychotherapy and neuropaediatrics and has been the responsible specialist for neuropaediatrics at the MVZ at the Alb Fils Clinics since October 2020.

Mr Kuttruf has been a member of the KTK medical team since June 2020, is married and the father of 3 adult sons.

Michael Vomstein completed his specialist training in Stuttgart at the Olga Hospital in Germany.

In 1983, he opened his own paediatric practice which he converted into a group practice in 1988 with a focus on allergology, asthma, neurodermatitis, ADHD and developmental neurology. In 2015, Mr Vomstein handed over his share of the practice to his long-standing colleagues and has regularly joined the KTK medical team since then.

Mr Vomstein is married, father of 3 adult children and grandfather of 3 grandchildren.

Tobias Berberich completed his specialist training as a paediatric and adult surgeon in Germany and Switzerland.

From 2006 to 2009, he was first a senior physician and then a specialist in paediatric surgery at the University Children's Hospital Basel (UKBB). Since 2009, he has worked at St. Elisabethen Hospital, first as Head of Paediatric Surgery and since 2017 as Head of the Department of Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology.

Mr Berberich has been part of the KTK team since 2014, is married and has a daughter.

Sergio Sesia completed his specialist training in Nancy/France and at the University Paediatric Hospital Basel (UKBB).

From 2011 to 2017, he was senior consultant at the UKBB and since 2017 senior consultant at the University Clinic for Thoracic Surgery at the Inselspital in Bern.

In addition to general paediatric surgery, Mr Sesia specialised in the conservative and surgical treatment of thoracic wall deformities (funnel chest and keel chest) and in minimally invasive surgery.

In addition to his work at Inselspital, Mr Sesia has a scientific position at the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).

Mr Sesia is married, father of 4 children and has been a member of the KTK medical team since June 2020.
