Information on the succession plan in our practice in Muttenz
We are very pleased to inform you that we have found a successor from the Baselland region for our practice in Muttenz. Dr. med. Michael Buess will take over from Dr. med. Germanier and Dr. med. Corfu starting on August 19th, 2024. Dr. med. Buess comes from a family of doctors; his father ran a practice in Füllinsdorf. He studied at the University of Basel and has been working as a pediatrician in Germany in recent years. Now, he is very excited to return to the area where his father practiced.
From now, Dr. med. Buess, together with Dr. med. Schmidlin, will ensure the daily opening hours as follows:
- Monday: Consultations from 08:00 to 12:00, afternoon closed
- Tuesday to Friday: Consultations from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00
We are also working diligently to find a suitable female pediatrician to join the team in Muttenz.
We look forward to working with Dr. med. Buess and warmly welcome him soon.

Please arrive punctually at the agreed appointment, we are endeavor to keep waiting times to a minimum. Appointments that are not canceled 24h in advance will be charged.
We also ask for your understanding if it is not possible for us to to examine the unannounced siblings additionally. Should it is an emergency, we will charge an emergency rate.
